I took this picture of my sister, Lynette, and my neice, Kailey, last August. Lynette is one of my "little sisters" and when she asked me to take her formal pictures at her wedding I was touched. I know I was cheaper than hiring a professional (I worked for free) but I also know that she trusted me to not goof it up. It was a big deal to me, and I tried my best to capture as many memories for her as I could.

This was one of my favorite pictures. I took hundreds of shots, and many of them turned out pretty well. However, this one stands out as one of my best because I can see the love that Kailey has for her aunt Lynette in this one. Just look at her eyes and smile. They melt my heart!

Lynette has been a baby-sitter, buddy, aunt, and a great role model for Kailey. I think I captured the way Kailey feels about Lynette in this picture.

The wedding went well. I didn't mess up too badly! Lynette seems happy and in love with her husband, Chris. Kailey will be starting school this next fall. She still loves her aunt Lynette, and rightfully so!
