Can you see him?

I was standing in the kitchen getting some water- ya I know up so late - when a little white blur caught my attention. So I grabbed my camera to go and inspect. As I opened the back door I found the rain had eased up and perched on the rear tire of my hubby's truck was three kittens. As soon as the white "blur" saw me it took off. But the two black kittens remained. So I scurried over taking pictures on the way. Thinking to myself I am insane. I crawled up under the truck. Luckily this is not a tough feat seeing as it is on a pretty hefty lift. I thought the rest had managed to get a way till I looked back by the spare tire which hangs behind the rear axle of the truck. There was this little guy looking back at me, and though you can't see it the second one is there too.

They did not stay long in fear of this human among them with her contraption of blinding power. I felt bad afterwards as they scurried about. One hit its noggin on some part to the truck. The other passed clearing the obstacle the other hit, but managed to miss the opening in the shed ramming smack into it. I couldn't help to chuckle, but then felt bad for I was the cause of this mischief. I probably blind the poor things making them think the white light had come for them. Hopefully they will not reflect upon me too harshly as the monster with the bright light. I can hear the meows now, “She’s the one who wished to take our lives one by one by one by one by one by one by one- Till she had all nine. Using that bright light of hers to shine in our eyes. Meow”

But after the fact I placed some milk for them under the truck in hopes to make amends. I think it worked for though there has been no sight of them the milk is almost gone. Such cute critters of entertainment and adventure.
