We spent the day at the park. It could have not been more beautiful. Kids playing, birds chirping, grills burning, and ahh yes water fights. It was a great time to unwind and reunite with our rejuvenating swings. At some point I decided to wander off on my own. The park/woods has always been the only place I feel completely free of fear and hesitation.

Able to meander off on my own actually eager of who or what I may encounter. It is a mystical place for myself. The connection with the animals- whom this trip were hidden away from the previous week full of spring break campers - and listen to the trees. It was a warm day not overly hot and the breeze blew softly giving comfort. So me and my camera went off into the woods. By far one of my favorite pass times. Slowly the sounds of various groups playing and cooking out faded as it became just me and the woods. Well and the path too.

Taking my flip flops off to reduce my own clattering noise preferring a more graceful and hidden sound. No, not hidden but merging with that around me. I came to this one spot, My placidity it is now known to me as, I sat and watched the appearance of stillness around me though much was taking place under the naked eye. I let out a deep breath and in that single breathe I was refreshed! Continuing on my journey, emerging from the path moments later back to my group. It was such a need for me and I am thankful I got the chance to wander off on my own finding a place to sit and think. So peaceful and so dramatic I had to take such a shot to remember the feeling when things get rough and heck it.
