To me, the greatest accomplishments in my life have been saving the life of animals. Every single time I saw a little kitten wandering around with no food and homeless I would not be able to resist and bring the kitten home with me. My parents would freak out telling me how we can’t have any more pets, but eventually they would grow attached and be happy like me.

This picture is very special to me because it is one of the first pictures I took of little Shiva right when I had got her. She was the cutest bundle I had ever seen, but unfortunately I did not find her as I had all of my other stray kittens. With little Shiva she was actually found by a co-worker at my aunt’s job. She works in a construction site where they were building a school, and he stumbled upon her. He saw a little brown creature amiss all the dirt and rubble of the site. Soon enough he figured out it was indeed a stray kitten. Immediately he took her into my aunt’s office to see if there was any food for her to eat and to see what could be done or if anyone would adopt her. That afternoon my other aunt and I were on our way to go meet her for lunch. We got there and as soon as I saw this little bundle of fur eating away at a tuna sandwich like it was the best meal she had ever had in her life, I knew I wanted her. I picked her up I wanted to take her home with me at that second. She was the tiniest and cutest little creature. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and big enormous paws. She had 6 fingers on her paws and 5 toes on her feet. I knew I had to take her home with me and give her a loving and caring home.

I grew very attached to her. I hand-fed her for the first month of her life and took so much care of her. She has now grown to be this beautiful healthy cat with a soul and will like I have never seen in any other cat. She doesn’t let anything get her down and hates love. She has a very different attitude on life…a very unique cat to say the least.

I look back at this picture and look at her now and it makes me happy to know that I saved her life and that she is healthy and happy in a good home.
