At the time this photo was taken there were so many things getting ready to happen in my life. I didn't have a clue about any of them. This was taken in Virginia Beach where I was on vacation with my fiance. The whole day was wonderful and it was so beautiful there it took my breath away. I was with the man that I loved most in the whole world and my best friend. I couldn't have been happier.

I didn't know that only months later he would end our six year relationship. Just two months before I was supposed to get married.

Now every time I see this picture I remember him how he was that day. I see him smiling at me and I think of us walking down the long peir out into this ocean. More then anything though I thank God for my life now and the wonderful experiences I have had. Through all the pain I was able to see the beauty once again.
