Although river and highway intersect here, they seldom bother each other. The highway is the busiest in this area but sitting in the shade under the bridge with the river calmly moving, it feels as though you're the only person in the world. The sound of the cars and trucks just fade away and you don't even remember they're there. It's a place to think, to dream and to ease your troubles.

The current is gentle here and the sun plays shadow games. It's very peaceful there under the bridge and I definitely prefer it to the top of the bridge. So many drivers each day don't even think about the bridge at all and will never have a clue about the wonderful place they pass over daily.
