For Halloween, I bought my daughter this Nala costume at the Disney store, and then bought my son the Simba costume on eBay. They were great for Halloween, though a little bit warm. My daughter Rain's birthday is on November 20th, and I got an email ad from Ticketmaster saying that the Disney Jungle on Ice (Jungle Book, Tarzan, and Lion King) was coming to our area. I clicked on the link out of curiosity, and said find four tickets on the Ticketmaster site... and shoot, it found front row seats! So I bought them right away.

We didn't tell the kids where we were going that night, only that we had to bring the lion outfits, and that it was Rain's birthday surprise. We got them dressed up in their costumes in the van and then brought them into the stadium. Everyone said, "aww, look how cute!" And since we were right there in front of the ice, it was a good thing we brought them in those warm outfits, because it was pretty chilly. We also got Dylan his "spin thing" you can see lighting up, and Rain got a magic wand. It was an absolutely perfect night.
