The first light brings the dawn of a new day when the cucoon of darkness reveals the chrysalis of life.......Many wonderous things happen before our eyes, as the blue of the sky mixes with the red of the sunrise to tint the world around us a delicate rose, the birds awaken with their melodious greetings...some flower buds break their bonds and unfurl into glorious shapes and colors....The sun rises and wipes out the pastel shades,turning our world into the azure blue of the sky and emerald green of the new leaves of spring.

At noon the sun is high overhead, warming the earth causing new growth to sprout forth making a soft carpet under our feet......A beautiful butterfly stretches its wings for its first flight while the little ground squirrels poke their heads out for another summer.... The whispering aspens make their presence known with the soft rustling of their leaves......The fiddlehead ferns push through the ground true to their name.

As the afternoon progresses a short walk in the woods fills our lungs with cooler, fresher air....Dead twigs crackle under our feet as a bunny scrambles away into the bush....The scent of the wild fruit blossoms reminds us that we will be provided with an abundance of berries to make our favorite preserves in the fall...

With the sun decending in the west, the evening sky is transformed from blue to yellow, then to red as the ball of fire sinks below the horizon....Life comes to rest, Waiting a new beginning....
